In order to continue providing high-quality brand development and distribution services to our customers, our company requires the professional services of a Sr. Market Research Analyst to enhance data-driven marketing strategies. The Sr. Market Research Analyst will collect and analyze complex market data on consumer trends, competitor activities, and brand performance to collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform these insights into actionable initiatives. Furthermore, the Sr. Market Research Analyst will develop forecasting models to optimize product lifecycle management and inform strategic decisions regarding brand acquisitions, licensing deals, and private-label partnerships.

 

The hired individual will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Design and execute both qualitative and quantitative research studies to evaluate market size, target consumer segments, and emerging trends in the swimwear and apparel industry.

  • Gather data on market conditions, competitor activities, and consumer preferences, providing insights for product design, brand positioning, and promotional strategies.

  • Perform advanced analyses to understand customer buying patterns across multiple channels—various types of stores, retailers, and direct-to-consumer platforms.

  • Forecast short- and long-term demand fluctuations, ensuring our marketing operations align with production capacities and distribution channels.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate market conditions in new and existing regions, identifying optimal channels for product placement and distribution expansion.

  • Analyze international consumer trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory factors that may affect product introduction or pricing.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the methods and procedures our company uses to collect market and industry data and suggest ways to improve these.

  • Prepare clear, data-driven reports and presentations to management on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities, offering strategic recommendations to leadership on pricing, product assortments, and promotional approaches.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in market research, communications, or a related field (foreign educational degree equivalent acceptable).

  • 2 years' work experience analyzing market data and industry trends to help develop a company's effective marketing strategies and operations.

  • Proficiency in SPSS, SAP, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
